Product Overview
The M3 x 0.5 Lock Nut Stainless Steel is a lock nut that is a type of fastener. Lock nuts have special characteristic that resist under the vibration without getting loosening. Lock nuts are tightened with the help of a torque wrench. Nylon insert lock nuts has a non-metallic ring wrapped in the nut, this helps to provide grip when the nut is tightened with the bolt. This nut is made of stainless steel material. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains a minimum of chromium of around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and to prevent scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness.
