Product Overview
The Screw M2.9 x 9.5 TYB Pan Head Phillips head (PHH) is a type of screw and a common type of fastener, similar to a bolt and usually made of metal. A screw can be used in many applications joining a number of different materials together. Pan head type screws have cylindrical heads with rounded edges and a flat bearing surface. Their low head height and large diameter provide increased driving power. Phillips drive types have a cross-shaped slot and are used with Phillips drivers. This Phillips pan head screw is made up of stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains a minimum of chromium of around 10.5%. The presence of chromium helps to offer corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness. It has good strength, cryogenic toughness and higher hardening rate. By considering on all the properties of stainless steel is often the chosen material to use for socket head button screws for a particular application. This screw is being used in many anesthesia machines in medical field such as Giraffe™ Incubator and Giraffe™ OmniBed, among others.
