Product Overview
This Indium gasket is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). A gasket is a mechanical seal which fills the space or irregularities between two or more mating surfaces. It is also used to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. It is made of the element indium which is 99.99% pure. The product material possess soft, malleability, efficient performance at low temperature, good electrical properties and longer life. They have a good mechanical strength. It does not need heat to be applied for fixing the two surfaces. The part is packaged and sealed safely in a heavy gauge polyethylene bag to prevent from dirt and moisture during transit. This gasket is compatible with cold head gasket for Sumitomo, Leybold parts kit and Balzer parts Kit.
