Product Overview

This toothed drive belt is a flexible belt with 160 teeths on its surface which are used to transmit motion between two or more shafts coupled with toothed pulleys that are often parallel to each other. This drive belt is made up of strong polyurethane material and comes with stainless steel splice bushing and stainless steel cable that strenghten the overall load transmission capability of the belt. The 0.2031 inch wide belt comes with 0.0982 inch tooth pitch and is designed for good torque transmission. The belt is diligently designed to accomodate twists and turns, odd angles, while the profile of the belt reduces slipping and provides accurate and precise motion transmission. The tooth design of this belt substantially improves stress distribution and offers positive drive and zero backlash. The teeths of this belt enter and leave the sprocket grooves smoothly with negligible friction—functioning in much the same way as teeth on a gear without making much noise. This bue color belt requires less maintanence and can be used to drive feedback potentiometer, encoders assemblies of OTS (Overhead Tube Suspensions) used along with GE's X-Ray Systems.
