Product Overview
The VCT QA Phantom, 185mm Wide Assembly is used in the Quality Assurance (QA) testing of the Volumetric Computed Tomography (VCT) machines. The phantom is a sample material which is used to check the machines with all testing before using with human beings to avoid risk. It is also used for the medical practitioners to get trained with the scanners and acquire knowledge. It is used for staging 40mm detector systems such as the HD and Optima systems. It will be scanned using a water phantom scan technique. The material of the phantom is transparent and has high optical clarity and mechanical stability. It comes as an assembly with screws and other accessories required for proper imaging. It should be placed carefully so that the image will not have any debris or bubbles on it. The VCT QA Phantom is used in Digital Imaging (DI) machines like LightSpeed 5.X HP60 16-Slice, Discovery 690, Optima CT660 32/64/128-Slice, Optima MR450W GEM 1.5T, Definium 5000, OEC Brivo 785 and Precision 500D.
